Minors are encouraged to join and participate in youth programmes but may ONLY join or sponsor with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

Non-SA citizens may join as a supporter but may not cast votes or participate in official meetings in which policy decisions are made.

Fee paying or card carrying members of other political parties are not eligible for HRFSA membership unless an official letter proving cancellation of membership can be provided.
