This new South African political party contesting the Local Government Elections on 27 October 2021 is a social-democratic movement that strives to embrace all people of South Africa with the objective of bettering their lives and promoting the unification of all cultures.
What is the D.O.P.?

• Our logo and colours were spe-cifically chosen to represent the previously disadvantaged com-munities and the previously dis-advantaged black majority.
• The DOP aims to redress the inequality of the past.
• The broken chains symbolizes the much needed emancipation of the poor and vulnerable
• The woman on the grinding stone represents our commit-ment to feeding our nation.
• The DOP aims to contest the Local Municipal Elections and to become the leading party in our country.
• We aim to deliver quality services and to improve the livelihood of our people.

The DOP is a political formation tasked with the emancipation of South African (particularly rural) citizens from economic exclusion and hunger.
We will defend the:

• Voiceless
• Rejected Masses and the
• Hopeles.
Honesty, Transparency, and Accountability in the best interests of our Citizens.
Things To Do When In Government:
• Promote Diversity
• Protect people from extreme poverty;
• Deliver high-quality basic services;
• Excellent healthcare system
• Appoint more Metro police to keep our people safe;
• A growing economy to enable people to access jobs;

The upcoming DOP-led
Government:
• Will establish an effective programme for the old-age grant recipients in every village.
• Nutritional programme for the ECD’s;
• Proper access to jobs;
• Will address health issues & availability of medications & increase staff in all our clinics.
• Special Unit for drugs and substance abuse;
• Provide low-Cost houses (RDP) for all eligible and qualified Citzens;
• We will make the RDP beneficiary list to be available for everyone;
• Will undertake skills & expertise audits in all munici-pal departments to ensure that municipal officials oc-cupy positions that they are qualified & will eliminate nepotism & sexual discrimination for jobs;
• Will deal will Corruption and maladministration ac-cordingly.
• We will fight corruption and promote accountability.
• Will provide free basic services to the vulnerable.
• We will protect the whistle blowers.
• We will formalize e all informal trades and build stalls.
• We will employ more metro police for visibility and enforcing the municipal bi-laws
• Will prioritize the establishment of Rehabilitation cen-ters in every municipality to eliminate the scourge of drugs and substance abuse.
