  • What To Expect

    1. Complete Training

Whether you’re a beginner looking for a place to start or a seasoned industry worker looking to up-level your skills, we have everything you need to get training DONE in the cannabis industry... we provide a modern "micro-learning" format.

Our training video content varies in length depending on the topic... allow 45 - 60 minutes to complete each "micro-learning" module. You can choose from any one of our trainings to start building a SOLID foundation of cannabis knowledge.

The training levels are beginner to advanced, they all come with engaging videos, interactive learning activities, module assessments and certificates. And we ALWAYS update our training (so you’ll be many steps ahead of your peers).

    2. Passing Grade

Our assessments aren’t tricky, but they do require that you know the information if you want to pass. At the end of each "micro-learning" module, you will take a BRIEF assessment to ensure you understand the what's covered in that training.

A passing grade of 80% is REQUIRED (for the majority) of our training, and you can retake the assessment as many times needed to receive a passing grade (they include immediate feedback so you'll know why the answer was correct/wrong).

The assessments are not timed, and they consist of multiple-choice and true/false questions. Ideally each "micro-learning" module and assessment should be taken in one sitting, but your answers will be SAVED so you can always finish it later.

    3. Display Certificate

Once you have completed all the required assessments, you will then be able to save, print or download your certificate and/or digital badge to SHOW that you have been certified in a new skill. Upon successful completion, you will receive:

    • A digital, printable Certificate of Completion (all training) suitable for framing & assigned a unique code when ISSUED so it can be validated.
    • A Digital Badge (for certifications only) that can be hosted on your website, email signature & LinkedIn profile to BUILD creditability.
    • Status & recognition of YOUR cannabis industry skills & expertise.
    • Best of all, when a client or employer views your digital certificates & badges, they’ll be taken to our site to VERIFY your records are authentic.

  • MCC - Module 1

MCC MODULE 1 - Cannabis Life Cycle

    >Cannabis plants go through a series of stages as they grow and mature, and those different stages call for different amounts of light, nutrients, and water. It’s important to know these stages and how long each lasts to know what the plant needs and when. Knowing where your plants are in their life cycle will dictate when to prune, train, and trellis your plants, and when to harvest. It’ll be quicker if you start with a clone or an auto-flower seed, but the biggest variability in how long a cannabis plant takes to grow will happen during the vegetative stage.

  • MCC - Module 2

MCC MODULE 2 - Seeds and Seedlings

    >Cannabis seeds can be acquired from an array of sources and can vary in quality, but require three things to germinate: water, heat, and air. Germination is the process in which a new cannabis plant begins to grow from seed. Also referred to as “popping,” germination is the very first step in starting your cannabis garden. Cannabis seeds can be acquired from an array of sources and can vary in quality yet the seedling stage can be a looming challenge for novice growers, we will cover the simple steps so you can easily manage cannabis seedlings.

  • MCC - Module 3

MCC MODULE 3 - Clones, Cloning and Mothers

    >Learn how cannabis plants come from one of two sources: a seed or a clone. Mother plants are needed in the cloning process – they are highly valued plants that growers take cuttings off of to create clones. The clones are genetically identical cuttings that can then be planted to grow into a new plant. Other methods you’ll discover is how to take cuttings off a set of mother plants then start flowering the mothers. The next generation of clones is grown, and when they get big enough, cuttings will be taken before getting flipped to start flowering.

  • MCC - Module 4

MCC MODULE 4 - Vegetative Growth

    >The vegetative growth phase is a period of the growing cycle that takes place after seedlings are rooted and before flowering the plants. Learn how during vegetative growth cannabis plants go through a series of stages as they grow and mature. Each of those different stages the plants go through calls for different amounts of light, nutrients, and water, but it’s important to know these stages. Knowing exactly where your plants are in their life cycle will dictate what to do during the vegetative growth stage until you’re ready to start flowering.

  • MCC - Module 5

MCC MODULE 5 - Harvesting Cannabis

    >Harvesting is usually the most exciting time when it comes to growing cannabis plants since all your efforts culminate at the moment when you cut down your crop. After months of waiting and working hard to carefully tending your cannabis plants, you’re finally ready to harvest a bountiful yield of frosty, fragrant cannabis buds. While you may be tempted to dry as quickly as possible, yet you’ll need to cure through a prolonged process of removing moisture from the flowers under controlled conditions which provide a much better product.

  • MCC - Module 6

MCC MODULE 6 - Water and Nutrients

    >Cannabis plants are sensitive to water and nutrients, and there’s a fine line between properly feeding your plants and burning them with chemicals. Find out everything you need to know about properly feeding cannabis plants and learn about the absorption of nutrition, and the included dissolved nutrient salts occurs via the roots of the plant. Learn how this process is done through osmosis which is a physical process in which substances move from one fluid and are separated by a semi-permeable wall (the plant cell) to another fluid within the plant.

  • MCC - Module 7

MCC MODULE 7 - Air and Environment

    >Growing cannabis in an indoor environment gives the grower much greater control over the vast number of variables that can affect a plant’s health. The movement of air through an indoor grow space is imperative to maintaining a healthy garden, and without proper ventilation, a grow space can face a number of problems, like carbon dioxide depletion and proliferation of mold and pests. Proper ventilation is a key aspect of running an efficient and clean grow room. In fact, most cannabis pests and plagues are caused by ventilation issues.

  • MCC- Module 8

MCC MODULE 8 - Pests, Fungi and Diseases

    >Unfortunately, bugs, fungi, and other garden pests can totally mess up your cannabis harvest! Just like any other crop cultivated, cannabis is subject to a wide range of pests and diseases that can distress your plants, even kill them if left untreated. Before you can make an informed decision about how best to solve a problem, it is necessary to be able to identify the cause of the plant stress or its symptoms. You will learn different types of bugs, pests, and mold that can affect your plants, along with tips for preventing and solving each problem.

  • MCC - Module 9

MCC MODULE 9 - Soil and Containers

    >Selecting the optimal growing containers isn’t always easy and not all growing containers are equal since some types of containers are better suited for some purposes than others. When it comes to containers, your plants want one thing only: a safe, healthy place for root development. Without healthy roots, your cannabis will never thrive. Roots are in charge of water retention, nutrient absorption, anchoring the plant, and facilitate vegetative growth. All of these functions must be considered when choosing a container to grow cannabis.

  • MCC - Module 10

MCC MODULE 10 - Hydroponic Gardening

    >As the name may suggest, hydroponics is a soilless method of growing cannabis using water as the primary medium. You’ll learn how to build your hydroponic set up so you can grow cannabis plants in buckets or baskets filled with an inert growing medium, and are suspended over a tank full of water. Hydroponics is where water is filled with all of the nutrients plants need to thrive and air stones are used to aerate the reservoir. Hydroponics will manifest in many different forms and systems, with different growers preferring different setups.

  • MCC - Module 11

MCC MODULE 11 - Outdoor Cultivation

    >Growing cannabis plants outdoors is easy. All you need is a nice open space that gets lots of light, a water supply, good soil, and a way to cover the plants when the weather turns. Growing cannabis outdoors is great because you won’t need to spend a ton of money on it and you can rely on the power of the sun. If you have access to a sunny spot then you can grow cannabis plants outside but you will have to manage outdoor pests and predators, yet you won’t have to spend a bunch of money on equipment and utilities like indoor growers.

  • MCC - Module 12

MCC MODULE 12 - Grow Rooms and Greenhouses

    >If you’re growing indoors then the grow room is where everything all happens, yet growing cannabis using greenhouses or outdoor frames is popular due to “free” electricity from the light bulb in the sky (sun). The germination, vegetation, and flowering stages will all take place typically in these growing environments. Whether your harvest is a success or failure will depend mostly on how you build your grow room or outdoor structure and you’ll learn there are plenty of advantages to growing cannabis in both greenhouses or grow rooms.

  • MMCC - Module 13

MCC MODULE 13 - Lighting and Electricity

    >You will learn about the immense amount of electricity required for cannabis production. Indoor cultivators must consider special lighting, ventilation and air conditioning systems when designing grow rooms and greenhouses. Each of these systems uses a substantial amount of energy and growers always ensure the maximum harvest of their crop use intensely bright lighting systems paired with powerful air conditioners to shorten a plant’s growing cycle. You’ll find how electricity consumption for cannabis cultivation is staggering.

  • MCC - Module 14

MCC MODULE 14 - Cannabis Breeding

    >If you’re interested in breeding your own cannabis genetics, but find the scientific jargon confusing and “Punnett Squares” put you to sleep. We will break down all you need to know about breeding cannabis and how to preserve those precious genetics. Learn practical advice on how to cross different genetics, what a hybrid or a backcross is, or what parent genetics are without the academic-speak. All of these have to do with plant breeding, which is essentially breeding a male and female plant to refine the genetics of two different plants.
