For a workplace to be completely safe, eye safety must be considered. Unfortunately, thousands of people are blinded each year by work-related eye injuries. Most of these injuries could have been prevented with the proper selection and use of eye and face protection. After our Eye Safety training, you will understand the basics of eye protection on the job, be able to identify the potential work activities that can cause eye injury, and know-how to prevent those injuries. You will also learn about the use, maintenance, and inspection of protective eye-wear as well as proper first aid for eye emergencies in the workplace.
